The Ministry to the Homeless is Antioch’s walking in God’s mandate to remember the poor and those who suffer, while living on the streets of Philadelphia. From overcrowded homeless shelters to drugs and alcohol abuse to mental disorders, the homeless culture nonetheless consists of men and women who have been made in the image and likeness of God and who are eternally precious in His sight. From serving food and distributing clothing and toiletries on street corners, to visiting local shelters and offering biblical teaching and counseling—even down to offering housing as well as a support network for finding jobs—Antioch’s desire is to minister to “the whole man,” in a holistic sense.
